Post Summer Festival Retreat with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang

THE ORAL INSTRUCTIONS OF MAHAMUDRA

Following on from the International Summer Festival in Manjushri KMC, England, Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang will lead this retreat based on the commentary to the practices of The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra which she has received personally in 2015 from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. This is a special opportunity to deepen our understanding of the teachings in our heart by receiving guidance from a highly qualified and experienced practitioner. In this way we progress along the blissful path to enlightenment with Gen-la Kunsang in the perfect conditions in the mountains of Switzerland.

     Teacher

Gen-la Kunsang is a senior Kadampa Buddhist nun with more than 25 years experience. She is also the National Spiritual Director of Italy, Austria and Switzerland and teaches at National Festivals. She demonstrates an extraordinary and inspirational example of a modern-day Kadampa practitioner. Her teachings are powerful and clear.

Volunteering

Kailash IRC is a charity and the Retreat Centre is run by a few volunteers. It is also fun to connect with fellow retreaters while helping out with small tasks. For this reason every participant helps with some jobs (e.g. chopping vegetables, washing dishes, tidying up etc). and the final cleaning at the end of the course.
